PCOSA Conference update

We're less than a month away from the second PCOSA conference. Are you ready?

Don't forget, the early registration deadline for the conference is Saturday, May 15th. That's THIS Saturday! If you're still thinking about registering, this week would be a great time to do so, and you can save $25, too. The conference is being held June 5 - June 6, 1999, at the Arlington Park Hilton & Conference Center in Arlington Heights, Illinois. In order to receive the early bird discount, your registration MUST be postmarked before May 15, 1999.

The cost of the conference is $199, but PCOSA is offering discounts to lower attendance costs. Members of PCOSA can take $25 off the conference price, early bird registrations (before May 15) will receive $25 off. Anyone traveling with a partner (multiple registrations) can also take $25 off.

PCOSA is looking for a few good women

Are you currently, or have you ever been involved in a clinical study? We're looking for PCOS women that have some clinical study experiences. Self Magazine is going to be writing an article and needs input from women that would be willing to discuss their studies, including how you found out about the trial, your thoughts on the whole process, and how it compared to receiving treatment from your regular doctor. There will be other questions, too. If you're interested, please contact Michaela Wirtz for more information.

PCOSA is looking for a few more GREAT women

If someone has done great things for the cause of PCOS and you would like them to be recognized for it, please send a message to conference@pcosupport.org. Be sure to tell us YOUR name, address and phone number, as much of the nominee's name, address and phone number as you happen to know, and a brief explanation of why you'd like this person to be considered for an Appreciation Award. The awards will be presented during the awards luncheon at the conference. The deadline for nominations is May 15, 1999.
