Welcome Fox News Chicago Viewers!

PCOS was in the news again this week, on Fox News Chicago (WFLD, channel 32), Monday, January 21, 2002, at 9 pm. The segment featured interviews with Illinois PCOSupport (tm) Chapter member Jodie Reed, and David A. Ehrmann, MD.

Ehrmann is a member of the PCOSA Advisory Board, and practices at the University of Chicago, Department of Medicine, in Endocrinology.

Welcome Viewers from CN8's Real Life

PCOS and the PCOSA were featured on CN8's Real Life Television Program. CN8 broadcasts in the New York Metropolitan, Connecticut, and New Jersey areas. The two part program aired January 9 and 10.

The Jan. 9th segment featured PCOS from the Patient's Perspective. Lisa Weinstein, PCOSA Board Member, is one of the women featured on this segment. Jan. 10th segment examined the medical and dietary issues facing women with PCOS. PCOSA Professional Members Walter Futterweit, MD, FACE, and FCAP, and Martha McKittrick, RD, CDN, were featured.

Futterweit, a clinical endocrinologist in New York City, has studied PCOS and its affects on women for over 25 years. He is a member of the PCOSA Medical Advisory Board, has spoken at past conferences and is the recipient of the PCOSA's Inaugural Distinguished Service Award in 2001.

McKittrick specializes in nutrition for women with PCOS. She is a member of the PCOSA Medical Advisory Board and has contributed articles to the Nutrition section of PCOSupport (TM) Living on the PCOSupport.org web site.
